With more than 60 resorts the French Northern Alps is an amazing paradise for both winter skiing and summer outdoors, for all tastes and requirements in relation to your property search. South Alps will be a good alternative if you choose to be closer to Cote d'Azur....​

​​Savoie is the heart of huge skiing areas around the Vanoise national park: ​

  • the famous "3 vallées" Courchevel-Meribel-Val Thorens and other resorts. Les Arcs-Peisey Vallandry, linked to La Plagne-Montchavin, the "Paradiski". The Val-d'Isere Tignes "Espace Killy" with summer skiing

  • The more confidential, stunning Beaufortain and its "stations-villages" Les Saisies-Hauteluce and Areches. Other less known villages-resorts however beautiful and with very good ski areas and amazing scenery: Sainte Foy, Pralognan la Vanoise, Champagny en Vanoise....

Isere with internationally famous ski resorts:

 

  • is the heart of 2 internationally well-known resorts - Les 2 Alpes (close to stunning Les Ecrins) with summer skiing, and l'Alpe d'Huez- together with more confidential resorts in the very pretty Vercors and Chartreuse classified natural park and the Belledone

South Alps with its Mediterranean sun (not on the map):

  • Isola 2000, Auron and other very sunny Alps resorts, not far from "Cote d'Azur" and Nice (airport, motorway and train)

  • Isere:  Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery airports, TGV to Grenoble
  • A very good network of motorways (Haute Savoie A40- A41, Savoie A43-A430, Isere A48-A49-A41), leading you close to the resort
